Flyway is Salsa's versatile carbon gravel bike, informed by decades of dirt road experience and evolved for the modern gravel scene. The fifth-generation gravel platform builds on the philosophy that comfort, stability, and versatility benefit both competitive racers and adventure seekers. This is a gravel bike designed for everyday riding: confident at race pace, comfortable at party pace, and capable of handling far-out adventures. The Deluxe Carbon Fiber Frame represents Salsa's most premium carbon fiber offering, using ultra-high-modulus carbon fiber to shave around 150 grams off the weight of standard carbon construction without compromising durability, stiffness, or ride quality. Salsa's Class 5™ VRS (Vibration Reduction System) features seatstays and chainstays shaped to promote vertical compliance and lateral stiffness for a smooth and straight-tracking ride. The Flyway Carbon fork accommodates 700c x 57mm tires and includes Three-Pack, rack mounts, and fender mounts. Internal brake hose routing through the headset and steerer tube creates a super-clean look. The frame is suspension-corrected to fit 40mm gravel bike suspension forks. Progressive geometry features a long reach and short stem paired with a low bottom bracket and slack head tube angle to maximize stability and confidence. Short chainstays offer responsive handling, while symmetrical dropped chainstays combined with a steep seat tube angle deliver excellent power transfer. The frame accommodates 700c x 50mm tires in the frame and 700c x 57mm tires in the fork. Mounting options include top tube bag mounts, generous bottle capacity, direct-mount frame bag mounts, rack mounts, and fender mounts. Through-headset cable routing keeps cockpits clean and keeps hoses and housing out of the way of handlebar bags and accessories.
