I’m Jake Munroe, owner of Munroe Velo. As a North Shore native, I know we are lucky to live in a place with awesome riding right in our backyard. That’s why I’m excited to introduce you to Munroe Velo! Building on the foundation of the full service bike shop that served the Topsfield community for 30+ years, we are open with a new look, new vibes, and lots of new gear & bikes.
I grew up in North Andover and now live in Hamilton with my wife, Catherine. Before getting into the bike industry, I served in the Navy before holding several different roles in the corporate world. But my real passion? Bikes. Bikes have been a core part of my life ever since I spent my days as a kid around the New England bike racing scene. In my lifetime of loving bikes, using them as a mode of transportation, a way to work out, and a way to escape the weight of the world, I’m excited to open our doors and share this passion with you.
