Salsa's Class 5™ VRS (Vibration Reduction System) has seatstays and chainstays shaped to promote vertical compliance and lateral stiffness for a smooth and straight-tracking ride. The Flyway Carbon fork features 700c x 57mm tire clearance and is suspension-corrected to fit 40mm gravel bike suspension forks. The fork includes Three-Pack and rack mounts, fender mounts, and internal brake hose routing through the headset and steerer tube for a super-clean look. Through-headset cable routing keeps cockpits clean and keeps hoses and housing out of the way of handlebar bags and accessories. Progressive geometry with a long reach and short stem maximizes versatility. A low bottom bracket and slack head tube angle maximize stability and confidence. Short chainstays offer responsive handling, and symmetrical dropped chainstays combined with a steep seat tube angle deliver excellent power transfer. The frame accommodates a 700c x 50mm tire in the frame and a 700c x 57mm tire in the fork.
