Our Service Process

When you need service you can trust our professional mechanics. We provide a free, no-commitment estimate after assessing your bike’s condition. Whether it requires a quick adjustment or a more in-depth repair, your bike is in good hands with Munroe Velo.

  • You can book a dropoff or just bring your bike down to the shop. We will assess the repair and give you a turnaround time and price estimate.
  • New bikes purchased from Munroe Velo receive a free tuneup in the first couple months of riding.
  • Same day service is accepted on a case-by-case basis (i.e., flat tires and minor repairs). These are assessed on site.
  • Need your bike back ASAP? We offer expedited service for a fee on top of the labor

Bikes left for extended periods of time after work is complete are subject to storage fees.

Safety Check

$75

Check, adjust & tighten any of the following:

  • Stem
  • Handlebar
  • Seat
  • Controls
  • Seatpost
  • Cranks

Recommended for bikes that are already in riding condition and need some minor attention for a weekend ride. We will assess whether your bike falls into a safety check vs a tuneup.

Full Tune-Up

$125

Includes:

  • Brake adjustments
  • Shifting adjustments
  • Chain lubrication
  • Frame wipe down
  • Basic wheel truing
  • Headset adjustments
  • Hub adjustments
  • Bottom bracket adjustments

The Overhaul

$250

Includes Tune Up Package PLUS :

  • Drivetrain removal and cleaning
  • Drivetrain reinstallation, inspection, and fine-tuning
  • Check, clean, lube all bearings: wheel, freehub, headset
  • Replace all cables (and housing if necessary)
  • Install new bartape if necessary
